What did 1WorldSync accomplish? Successfully completed GDSN Major Release 3 Certification Testing. Achieving this milestone confirms that 1WorldSync meets the GDSN technical requirements for party and item synchronization.
How did 1WorldSync become MjR3 Certified? Drummond Group assisted GS1 Global in deploying a Test Event which assessed 1WorldSync’s conformance to the GDSN technical requirements of party synchronization and item synchronization per the approved GDSN standards V3.1.
1WorldSync was one of 19 data pools tested in the GDSN Certification Test Event. The Test Event process involved grouping the applicant data pools into “pods.” Within each pod, each data pool was tested against each other as well as GDSN KATO™ reference data pool; this allowed for sufficient testing opportunities to resolve non-compliances between the data pools.
When did the Certification take place? The testing began on March 18, 2015, starting with AS2 connectivity and loading of assigned item data. To bestow certification, a Final Certification Run was conducted on May 18-29, 2015.
SUCCESS! To pass the Run, 1WorldSync demonstrated compliance and compatibility with the other data pools in its pod as well as with GDSN KATO™ and GDSN Global Registry without error and without code changes.
